When you visit Community Baptist Church, you can expect a warm welcome and an invitation to join us in
worship and praise to our Heavenly Father. As followers of Christ's teachings, we are not concerned with
worldly perfection and do not expect you to look and behave perfectly, either. Therefore, the atmosphere at
our place of worship is casual, loving and accepting of all who walk through the door. You are a gift from
God, as are all who gather each week for services at Community.
Our focus is on spiritual growth and maturity as followers of Christ. This happens as we seek God daily
through His Word, in worship, praise and prayer. To help facilitate the growth and maturity of believers, we
seek to equip people to:
• Communicate the love of God
• Develop the Character of Jesus Christ
• Connect with other believers in authentic Christian Community
• Serve the church and all the world with a Heart of Compassion
• Celebrate God in all they do
Our Sunday morning worship service is filled with music and scripture-based messages which are delivered
for easy understanding. Each message is filled with practical application of scripture for our everyday lives.
Forget high-brow words bundled in complex metaphors. God intended His Word – the Bible – to help His
people navigate life.
Including the worship music, services usually last about 60-70 minutes. A time of fellowship and refreshment
is provided immediately following services where adults, teens and children have the opportunity to grow in
their relationships with one another. Snacks are available during this time of relaxation and conversation with
each other.
